6. Evan Jones, RHP, Methacton
Jones will soon be suiting up for Wake Forest, but the Methacton pitcher is someone to watch this spring. As of last summer, his fastball sat in the range of 90-92 mph. Against Owen J. Roberts last high school season, Jones pitched a no-hitter.
“Loose, whippy arm w/ ath 6’3″ 185 frame (some lower-half strength) that projects,” Prep Baseball’s Shooter Hunt wrote of Jones on X last April. “Ball explodes out of the hand.”
