Top 10 NCAA softball players entering the 2025 season
6. Jordy Bahl, P, Nebraska
A lot of hype surrounded Bahl entering the 2024 season as she returned home to Nebraska. Unfortunately, her season ended abruptly as she pitched just 2 â…“ innings before suffering a torn ACL that sidelined her for the remainder of the campaign. However, Bahl was one of the best pitchers in college softball at Oklahoma and could reclaim that title if healthy in 2025 while potentially making the Huskers a Big Ten title contender. Across two seasons with the Sooners, Bahl went an incredible 44-2 with a 0.99 ERA and 397 strikeouts, allowing one run or less in 60 of 71 appearances. The 5-foot-8 junior was often at her best when it mattered most, going 8-0 in the NCAA Tournament while helping the Sooners to back-to-back national championships. Provided she returns to form following the injury, Bahl has national player of the year potential.
