Top 10 NCAA women鈥檚 basketball All-American candidates in 2025
4. Paige Bueckers, UConn
Freshman Sarah Strong has garnered a lot of headlines, but the veteran Bueckers continues to be the driving force behind UConn鈥檚 success. Bueckers was the 2021 Naismith Player of the Year after a sensational freshman season, but a knee injury derailed her next two years. The 6-foot guard returned in 2023-24 and averaged a career high 21.9 points en route to unanimous first-team All-American honors. While her numbers are down slightly this season, Bueckers remains a near lock to be an All-American again. Overall, she鈥檚 averaging 19 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.2 assists and two steals while shooting 54.6% from the field and 42.6% from deep. Bueckers also sports an impressive 3.07 assist-to-turnover ratio. The Huskies have a loaded roster once again, but Bueckers will likely have the biggest impact on their March success.
