Top 10 NCAA women鈥檚 basketball All-American candidates in 2025
9. Georgia Amoore, Kentucky
Amoore was one of the biggest names in the transfer portal last offseason and has proven to be a significant addition for Kentucky. Amoore was a two-time first-team All-ACC player at Virginia Tech and also earned third-team All-American honors last season. The 5-foot-6 senior guard has continued to thrive while being reunited with head coach Kenny Brooks in Lexington, averaging 18.3 points, 2.4 rebounds and 7.4 assists, with the latter number being tied for the most in the country. Amoore is a slightly less efficient scorer compared to some on this list, shooting 41.8% from the field and 32.1% from 3-point range. However, her ability to kickstart her team鈥檚 offense has proven invaluable for the two-loss Wildcats. Amoore and sophomore center Clara Strack make Kentucky a sleeper for a deep run in March.
