Top 10 college football QBs returning for 2025 season
5. Arch Manning, Texas
Manning has the least experience of anyone on this list, but he is perhaps the most intriguing quarterback heading into the 2025 season. Manning, the nephew of Super Bowl-champion quarterbacks Eli Manning and Peyton Manning, was the No. 1 prospect in the Class of 2023 before arriving in Austin. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound signal caller has been stuck behind Quinn Ewers for the past two years but earned a couple of starts in 2024 while Ewers was injured. Arch looked the part in both starts, particularly against Mississippi State where he completed 26-of-31 passes for 325 yards and two touchdowns, consistently showcasing his elite arm talent. With a solid No. 1 target to throw to, Ryan Wingo, the new Texas quarterback is poised to live up to the hype while keeping the Longhorns in national championship contention.
