4. Gerry McNamara (2002-06)
McNamara started all 35 games during his freshman year as the Orange claimed the national championship. He averaged 15.5 points and 4.8 assists in four seasons in Syracuse and led the Big East in free-throw percentage three times to earn three all-conference honors. McNamara is the program leader with 400 3-pointers and 4,799 minutes played and remains in the top five in points, assists and steals. The Orange honored his No. 3 jersey in 2023.
