Alabama quarterback options for 2025 college football season

With multiple young and inexperienced players in Alabama鈥檚 quarterback room heading into next season, it wouldn鈥檛 be surprising to see DeBoer pursue a more experienced signal caller out of the transfer portal. At this point, many of the portal鈥檚 top quarterbacks have been scooped up, but some intriguing players remain available like South Dakota State transfer Mark Gronowski, Boise State transfer Malachi Nelson and Ohio State transfer Devin Brown. Perhaps Alabama could also be among the teams trying to lure Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers back to the collegiate level who has for next season. Ewers would be a major splash, but even a lower-upside veteran like Tyler Van Dyke or Dequan Finn could provide greater stability and competition in the quarterback room in 2025.
