Tawee Walker transferring: 5 possible landing spots for RB
Tennessee Volunteers
Tennessee hasn’t done much in the portal yet but that could soon change after the Volunteers were blown out by Ohio State in the opening round of the College Football Playoff. The Vols struggled offensively in each of their three losses in 2024 and could look to add more weapons on that side of the ball for 2025. Tennessee’s rushing attack flourished overall this season, ranking ninth in the country thanks to a 1,400-yard campaign from Dylan Sampson. However, Sampson could be off to the NFL while the Vols will lose additional depth in the backfield with Cameron Seldon transferring. Freshmen backs DeSean Bishop and Peyton Lewis possess upside for Josh Heupel, but adding a depth piece like Walker who can grind out tough yards when needed just as Sampson did could provide a boost for the Vols’ offense.
