9. AutoZone Liberty Bowl: Texas Tech vs. Arkansas
Texas Tech and Arkansas will square off in Memphis on Dec. 27 as the two programs reignite an old rivalry. The teams played annually from 1957-91 with Arkansas dominating the series overall, earning 29 wins in 37 contests. However, the Red Raiders have won three out of the last four matchups, including the last time these teams played in 2015 in Fayetteville.
The Red Raiders are slight underdogs heading into the Liberty Bowl, in part due to some notable missing pieces from their top-10 offense, including injured quarterback Behren Morton and wide receivers Brady Boyd and Micah Hudson, who have both entered the transfer portal. That鈥檒l lead 8-4 Texas Tech to lean on Tahj Brooks who ran for over 1,500 yards and 17 touchdowns in the regular season. The 6-6 Razorbacks will also be missing some pieces, most notably leading rusher Ja鈥橯uinden Jackson and top receiver Andrew Armstrong, but dual-threat quarterback Taylen Green could help make this an exciting shootout.
