Devonte Ross transferring: 5 possible landing spots for WR
Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets
Ross played high school football just outside of Atlanta in Cartersville, Georgia and could look to return home to end his collegiate career. Georgia Tech is progressing under Brent Key, finishing over .500 in consecutive seasons, and an addition to its offense like Ross could help the Yellow Jackets improve further in 2025. Georgia Tech has some pieces to build around in its offense headlined by three juniors: quarterback Haynes King, running back Jamal Haynes and wide receiver Malik Rutherford. However, the Yellow Jackets will likely need to add depth at the receiver position with leading wideout Eric Singleton Jr. transferring and seniors Avery Boyd and Chase Lane likely departing. Ross could help fill the void left behind by those receivers while holding the potential to become one of the most explosive playmakers in the ACC.
