Overall, the 6-foot-1, 220-pound signal caller threw for 3,139 yards, 29 touchdowns and seven interceptions, completing 64.6% of his passes while posting a 71.3 quarterback rating.
Mateer also proved his dual-threat ability with the 8-4 Cougars, racking up 826 yards and 15 scores with his legs. Mateer鈥檚 dynamic skill set gives him immense upside and he will likely garner significant Power 4 interest in the portal, with to him already.
