Top 10 Washington boys basketball players in Class of 2025
2. Kaden Powers, SG, Rainier Beach
Rainier Beach should be among the best teams in Washington this season thanks to Powers and the addition of Jaylen Petty. Similar to Petty, Powers’ ability to score from anywhere on the court stands out as he is a skilled shooter from deep and in the midrange and can also finish strong inside. That was seen during a strong junior season with the Vikings where he led Rainier Beach to the WIAA 3A state championship game with a 28-point effort in the semifinals. Powers’ talent garnered more attention with Seattle Rotary this past summer where he averaged 13.7 points across 15 games and shot over 47% from 3-point range at Peach Jam. The 6-foot-5 guard’s game should eventually translate well to the college ranks at Rutgers as he recently committed to the Scarlet Knights over James Madison, Montana, Seattle and Washington.
