Jackson Arnold transferring: 5 possible landing spots

Mississippi State is at the bottom of the SEC right now and struggled to a 2-10 record in Jeff Lebby鈥檚 first season as head coach. However, Lebby is the reason Arnold might consider transferring to Starkville as he recruited the five-star quarterback while at Ole Miss and Oklahoma and was his quarterbacks coach in Norman during the 2023 season. Mississippi State received uneven quarterback play from freshman Michael Van Buren Jr. following a season-ending injury to transfer Blake Shapen in September, and Arnold could prove to be a better fit than Van Buren Jr. in Lebby鈥檚 system. If star wideout Kevin Coleman Jr. sticks around, Arnold will have a bonafide No. 1 target right off the bat and could help usher a quick turnaround in Starkville.
