Jackson Arnold transferring: 5 possible landing spots
TCU Horned Frogs
Arnold wasn鈥檛 playing too far from home in Norman, but a return even closer to Guyer, Texas could be intriguing for the five-star talent in the portal. TCU was one of several in-state schools that pursued Arnold during his high school career, so he already has some familiarity with the program. However, the biggest connection comes with head coach Kendal Briles who recruited Arnold while he was an offensive coordinator at Arkansas. Briles helped lead TCU to a solid 8-4 record and a 6-3 finish in Big 12 play during his second season with the program on the back of a high-flying passing offense that ranks seventh in the country. A breakout season from redshirt sophomore Josh Hoover was a big part of that, but bringing in quarterback competition might not hurt as Briles tries to take TCU to a playoff-caliber level.
