Cade McNamara transferring: 5 possible landing spots

Missouri went 9-3 in the regular season and remains a top-20 team in the country, but the Tigers didn鈥檛 quite live up to expectations in 2024 coming off an 11-2 campaign last year. A big offseason is approaching in Columbia as Mizzou will likely lose several offensive playmakers, including wide receivers Luther Burden III and Theo Wease Jr., leading rusher Nate Noel and senior quarterback Brady Cook. Cook鈥檚 departure may lead Eli Drinkwitz to seek a quarterback in the transfer portal this offseason and McNamara could be a nice option. He might not put up quite the same numbers in Kirby Moore鈥檚 offense that Cook did, but he could steady the ship for a Tigers passing attack that ranked just 77th in the country in 2024. His experience would also play well in the loaded SEC.
