Cade McNamara transferring: 5 possible landing spots
UNLV Rebels
McNamara is from Nevada and a return to his home state for his seventh and final year of college football would be fitting. The former Damonte Ranch High School standout was recruited by in-state Nevada during his high school career, but UNLV could provide a better fit for the signal caller currently. The Rebels endured some drama earlier this season with transfer Matthew Sluka leaving the team, but Barry Odom still guided them to a 10-2 regular season and a Mountain West championship game berth. The play of sixth-year senior quarterback Hajj-Malik Williams has been a big reason for the success, but he will likely be gone after this year. McNamara could be a nice replacement, particularly if Odom remains in Las Vegas, and could help keep UNLV in the College Football Playoff mix in 2025.
