Top 10 Illinois boys basketball players in Class of 2025
4. Aleks Alston, PF, Kenwood Academy
Kenwood Academy has been impressive on the hardwood in recent years thanks to some highly-skilled players like Alston. The 6-foot-9 forward showed some nice flashes with the Broncos as just a sophomore when he averaged close to nine points, and broke out further during his junior season with additional playing time. Alston has also showcased immense upside on the AAU circuit with Mac Irvin Fire, proving to be a knock-down shooter from deep while also displaying athleticism and quickness when getting to the rim. While he remains uncommitted, Alston will likely play in a D-I power conference following his final season at Kenwood Academy with offers from Georgia, Indiana, Michigan State, Ohio State and Oregon, among others.
