Top 10 Big Ten basketball players for the 2024-25 season
6. Great Osobor, F, Washington
Osobor has had an impressive ascension during his collegiate career as he began as a role player at Montana State before becoming the Mountain West Player of the Year last season at Utah State. Osobor averaged 17.7 points, nine rebounds and 2.8 assists offensively for the Aggies in 2023-24, shooting a strong 57.7% from the field while getting to the free-throw line at a high rate. The 6-foot-8, 250-pound forward from England is a bit undersized but does most of his work in the post and has a game that should fit the Big Ten鈥檚 physicality. He is also a good defender, averaging 1.4 blocks and 1.3 steals last season. Osobor has followed Danny Sprinkle to Washington based on and could find himself in the running to win conference player of the year come March.
