Ole Miss is a top-20, two-loss team that could find its way to a high finish in the SEC with strong play down the stretch. The Rebels have important games coming up the next two weeks at Arkansas and at home against Georgia before closing things out against Florida and Mississippi State. Beating Georgia would be huge for their playoff resume and winning at Arkansas seems like a necessity at this point as well.聽
Running the table to go 10-2 would give Lane Kiffin鈥檚 squad a playoff chance, but the Rebels have struggled in season-altering games during the Kiffin era. This year could be different as Ole Miss has the 11th-best defense in the country and an elite, second-ranked total offense behind standout quarterback Jaxson Dart. The resume is good, but Ole Miss will need to be at its best over the next few weeks to get in.
