Ranking 10 college football WRs who could win Biletnikoff Award
8. Tez Johnson, Oregon
Johnson has been one of the top playmakers for Oregon’s lethal offense over the past couple of seasons and has shined again through the first six games of 2024. Johnson was shut down in the Ducks’ second game of the campaign, but he has been sensational otherwise, catching at least seven passes in Oregon’s five other contests with double-digit reception totals in three of those. Johnson’s 8.3 receptions per game rank fourth in the country while the 5-foot-10, 165-pound senior has posted 470 yards and six touchdowns overall as Dillon Gabriel’s top target. Johnson is terrific after the catch and will have a chance to thrive during the second half of the year. He should garner Biletnikoff Award consideration with a potential 1,000-yard, double-digit touchdown campaign, especially if Oregon remains in the hunt to win the Big Ten.
