10 most impactful players for the 2024 WNBA playoffs
Kahleah Copper, Phoenix Mercury
The Mercury have hovered around .500 for most of the season but improved vastly from last year鈥檚 9-31 campaign and have the pieces in place to challenge one of the league鈥檚 top teams early in the playoffs. That includes veteran All-Stars Diana Taurasi, Brittney Griner and Copper who has had a career year in her first season in Phoenix following a long stay with the Chicago Sky. Copper is the WNBA鈥檚 third-leading scorer, averaging 21.6 points, and also puts up 4.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists per contest while shooting nearly 44% from the field and 32% from 3-point range. The percentages are down a bit for the 6-foot-1 guard, but she remains capable of scoring in bunches with nine 30-point games. Copper is dealing with a back injury right now, but she will be one of the most dangerous shooters in the playoffs if healthy.
