Top 10 Illinois WRs/TEs for 2024 high school football season
9. Noah LaPorte, Sr., Princeton
Princeton has some special players on its offense including junior running back Casey Etheridge and star senior receiver LaPorte who is a three-star recruit in the Class of 2025. LaPorte plans to stay home and play at Northwestern following his senior season after committing to the Wildcats this past June while holding additional Power 4 offers from Kansas and Michigan State. LaPorte will be an exciting addition to Northwestern’s receiving room thanks to his big 6-foot-6, 210-pound size and athleticism. Last season, the talented pass catcher made 34 receptions for 517 yards and eight touchdowns, averaging over 15 yards per reception. LaPorte was also a key contributor for the Tigers’ defense with 46 total tackles and four interceptions, but his upside on the offensive end is what makes him an exciting player to keep an eye on this fall.
