8. Colton Nussmeier, So., Marcus
Nussmeier鈥檚 name is likely familiar to many football fans as his father, Doug, is a former NFL draft pick and quarterbacks coach of the Philadelphia Eagles. Colton鈥檚 older brother, Garrett, is a former standout at Marcus and the current starting quarterback at LSU. Now it鈥檚 Colton鈥檚 time to shine and he has already looked the part when on the field. Colton didn鈥檛 see playing time for Marcus鈥� varsity squad as a freshman until last October but looked sharp in his limited reps. That has continued as he has showcased his strong arm at various camps throughout the summer, earning him several high-major Division I offers from schools like Baylor, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, TCU and Wisconsin, among others. Nussmeier has a chance for a breakout campaign in 2024 and should be a staple on this list over the next couple of seasons.
