Top 10 New York QBs for 2024 high school football season

The Friars won five of their first six games in 2023 before losing two of their final three regular season games. Despite being bounced from the first round of the postseason, Merrill still earned Class AA first-team all-state honors by racking up 1,452 yards and 13 touchdowns through the air and 1,154 yards and 15 scores on the ground. While he鈥檚 one of the best high school quarterbacks in the state, Merrill is a five-star lacrosse prospect and committed to playing for the North Carolina Tar Heels in 2025.
