Filardi had a huge season for the Colts last year, leading the state with 3,337 passing yards and 44 touchdowns through the air. He added 1,083 yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground to earn Class A first-team all-state honors. Filardi set the school record for passing yards and scores in a single game, amassing 531 yards and seven touchdowns in a win over East Islip. He plans to play football and lacrosse for the Syracuse Orange following graduation.
