A three-star recruit and standing at 5-foot-10 and 175 pounds, Knighten is the eighth-best player in Oklahoma and the 25th-best running back in the nation. During his sophomore year, Knighten recorded 2,278 rushing yards on 210 carries, averaging 10.8 yards per carry. He also posted six interceptions and 57 tackles on defense. Knighten committed to Baylor in February 2024.听
