Top 10 Pennsylvania QBs for 2024 high school football season
3. Semaj Beals, Jr., Roman Catholic
Beals is a three-star recruit in the Class of 2026 who has looked the part in his first two seasons at Roman Catholic. Beals earned starts for Roman Catholic as just a freshman in 2022 when he threw for over 1,200 yards, but his breakout season came in 2023 as he put up 2,881 yards and 29 touchdowns while completing over 57% of his passes. The 6-foot-1, 175-pound signal caller from Philadelphia also scrambles well and scored two rushing touchdowns on the year as Roman Catholic went 9-3 overall. Beals will look to grow his game further in 2024, but his athleticism and big arm haven’t gone unnoticed as he currently holds high-major Division I offers from Alabama, USC, Penn State and Colorado, among others.
