Top 10 Pennsylvania QBs for 2024 high school football season
2. Stone Saunders, Sr., Bishop McDevitt
Saunders has been on the radar for many since his 3,000-yard freshman campaign at Bishop McDevitt. He broke out further as a sophomore as he earned Pennsylvania Gatorade Player of the Year honors, throwing for 3,583 yards, 54 touchdowns and five interceptions while leading the Crusaders to a state championship and throwing for five scores in the title game. The 6-foot-1, 205-pound quarterback continued his elite play last season as he threw for 3,522 yards, 56 touchdowns and five interceptions while completing 64.7% of his passes. Bishop McDevitt鈥檚 all-time leading passer has a chance to continue climbing in the state record books this fall. Saunders will then play in the SEC at Kentucky after committing to the Wildcats last year and his big arm should provide a nice fit under Mark Stoops in Lexington.
Bye week work! Locked in for playoff run
