7. Joseph Reiff, DL, York
Reiff has good football bloodlines as his father was a defensive lineman at Northwestern in the 1990s. The big 6-foot-5, 245-pound York senior will soon follow in his father’s footsteps collegiately at Notre Dame where he has the potential to become an integral part of Marcus Freeman’s defense in the near future alongside some other Illinois Class of 2025 stars like Christopher Burgess Jr. and Dominik Hulak. Reiff was heavily recruited across the country thanks to his size and speed, and that has been on full display with the Dukes over the last couple of seasons. In 2023, Reiff was an all-state performer as he made 70 tackles, 17 tackles for loss and 11 sacks, and he is poised to increase those numbers this fall before heading off to South Bend.
