Top 10 Pennsylvania HS football players in Class of 2025
9. Stone Saunders, QB, Bishop McDevitt
Several talented quarterbacks reside in Pennsylvania’s senior class and one of the top is Saunders who has put up some big numbers over the past couple of years. In his sophomore season in 2022, Saunders was named Pennsylvania Gatorade Player of the Year as he threw for 3,583 yards and 54 touchdowns. The 6-foot-1, 205-pound quarterback put on an encore last season, leading Bishop McDevitt to a 13-1 record for the second consecutive year as he threw for 3,522 yards, 56 touchdowns and just five interceptions while completing 64.7% of his passes. Saunders, who already holds the Crusaders’ program passing record with over 10,000 yards in his career to this point, could go down as one of Pennsylvania’s best prep quarterbacks of all time with a strong senior season before heading off to Kentucky.
