Top 10 Wisconsin HS football players in Class of 2025
6. Cooper Catalano, LB, Germantown
Several talented defenders are among Wisconsin’s top Class of 2025 standouts and the best tackler among the group may very well be Catalano. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound linebacker has put up some impressive numbers over the past few seasons at Germantown, including 120 tackles as just a freshman before posting 147 tackles, 19 tackles for loss, two sacks, three forced fumbles and an interception as a sophomore in 2022. Catalano’s junior season was equally impressive as he racked up 138 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, 3 ½ sacks and two interceptions, making at least 15 tackles in seven contests. The three-star linebacker will maintain his role as the leader of the Warhawks’ defense this fall before looking to make his mark at Wisconsin.
Just got back home from a rain-soaked Brookfield Central. An interview with 2025 ILB recruit will be up in the AM, but here’s a great play he made to forced a fumble then recovered it.
