7. Torin Pettaway, DL, Middleton
Pettaway is a former basketball standout who played high school football for the first time last year. The results were tremendous as the 6-foot-5, 265-pound defensive lineman instantly garnered interest from several Big Ten schools. Pettaway, who was once committed to Minnesota, will stay close to home as he will join several of the Badger State鈥檚 top seniors at Wisconsin where he should eventually have the chance to develop into an important piece of the Badgers鈥� defense. First, he鈥檒l look to continue gaining experience in his second year of high school football at Middleton following a junior season where he posted over 30 tackles, five tackles for loss and four sacks. The three-star senior鈥檚 quick rise on the gridiron gives him a lot of upside heading into his final year with the Cardinals and beyond.
