Top 10 NCAA volleyball players entering the 2024 season
Olivia Babcock, Pittsburgh
Babcock started all 34 games in her first season at Pittsburgh and was named a first-team All-American and the AVCA Freshman of the Year. She enters her second season with the Panthers as one of the top young talents in the nation and will look to lead Pitt to its fourth consecutive national semifinals appearance alongside star teammate and fellow first-team All-American Rachel Fairbanks. Last season, Babcock was a force in the ACC as she led Pitt in several statistical categories including points (536.5), kills (420) and aces (51). The 6-foot-5 right-side hitter from Los Angeles also stood out defensively with 125 blocks in addition to 159 digs. Babcock has a lot of upside heading into her sophomore season and could become one of the faces of women鈥檚 college volleyball sooner rather than later.
