Texas A&M has a lethal lineup featuring a lot of power, as LaViolette, Braden Montgomery, and talented freshman Gavin Grahovac have all hit over 20 home runs this season. However, both LaViolette and Grahovac will need to step up in a big way in Omaha with Montgomery suffering a season-ending injury during the super-regional round. That ultimately makes the 6-foot-6, 230-pound sophomore one of the most important players in the College World Series field, as LaViolette鈥檚 consistency will be key. On the season, the talented slugger has hit .314 with 28 home runs and 77 RBIs. He also has a .453 on-base percentage and leads the Aggies in runs (83) and OPS (1.210). LaViolette has had at least one hit in each of Texas A&M鈥檚 last three contests and will look to keep that momentum going in the next round.
