Top 10 nominees on 2025 College Football Hall of Fame ballot
Aaron Donald
Donald is likely a shoo-in as a first-ballot inductee into the Pro Football Hall of Fame after retiring earlier this year as one of the greatest defensive linemen to ever play the game. It鈥檚 hard to argue against him having the same case for the College Football Hall of Fame as well. Donald was tremendous during his time at Pittsburgh, racking up 179 total tackles across his four-year career, including 66 tackles for loss — 28 陆 of which came in a dominant senior year. The 2013 season was also one of two campaigns at Pitt where Donald had 11 sacks, amassing 29 陆 total for the Panthers. Donald was also the ACC Defensive Player of the Year and a unanimous first-team All-American that season. His athleticism at his size and uncanny ability to get into the offensive backfield set him apart from most who have played his position.
