Top 10 nominees on 2025 College Football Hall of Fame ballot
Nick Saban
There don鈥檛 appear to be many locks in a loaded list of nominees in the 2025 College Football Hall of Fame class, but Saban is likely one of them. Although he retired from his head-coaching position at Alabama just five months ago, Saban is immediately eligible for the Hall of Fame by virtue of being over 70 years old. Saban was a head coach at Toledo and Michigan State in the 1990s before becoming a legend in the SEC, first with LSU and later in 17 seasons in Tuscaloosa. The 72-year-old coach won one national championship with the Tigers before winning six titles in 12 years with the Crimson Tide. He also won 11 SEC titles, nine of which came with Bama, while compiling a 292-71-1 career coaching record. Saban鈥檚 impact on the recent era of college football is unmatched and will be rightfully celebrated soon in Atlanta.
