10 most impactful players for 2024 Women’s College World Series
Maya Brady, SS, UCLA
UCLA is back in Oklahoma City in 2024 and the Bruins are quite familiar with the Women’s College World Series, reaching it in eight of the last 10 seasons. One of the Bruins’ veteran stars, Maya Brady, is also used to playing on this stage and her success will be key to UCLA competing for a title. The talented 5-foot-10 senior shortstop brings plenty of experience to the Bruins and has performed incredibly well again in 2024, hitting a team-best .431 – which is also the 15th-best average in the nation – with 17 home runs and 68 RBIs. The niece of NFL legend Tom Brady also has a strong 1.359 OPS with a .515 on-base percentage and a .844 slugging percentage. Maya has had a hit in each of the Bruins’ five tournament games thus far and will be one of the most exciting players to watch in OKC.
