Top 10 pitchers in the 2024 NCAA baseball regular season

Both Sears and Iowa standout Brody Brecht have a case to be dubbed the top pitcher in the Big Ten. While Brecht may ultimately be the more highly-touted pro prospect, it鈥檚 hard to ignore the incredible season Sears has put forth on the mound in 2024. On the season, the 6-foot-1, 200-pound junior has gone a perfect 8-0 across 14 starts with a 2.05 ERA that ranks No. 4 in the nation. Sears has held opponents to a .182 average and has also struck out 87 batters across 92 innings of work highlighted by an impressive 10-strikeout complete game back in April. At 34-19, Sears has Nebraska in position for a successful postseason and the Huskers will likely go as far as their talented righthander takes them.
