Top 10 breakout candidates for the 2024 WNBA season
Angel Reese, F, Chicago Sky
Reese was the No. 7 overall pick in last month鈥檚 draft and proved throughout her collegiate career that she has elite talent in the post which certainly can translate to the pro level. Reese鈥檚 college tenure began at Maryland before she transferred to LSU and had a breakout junior season where she averaged 23 points and 15.4 rebounds to lead the Tigers to a national championship. Reese鈥檚 numbers took a slight step back in her senior season but she still comfortably averaged a double-double as one of the game鈥檚 top post presences. She鈥檒l have plenty of chances to showcase her skills with the rebuilding Sky and the 6-foot-3 forward could quickly emerge as one of the league鈥檚 top forwards.
