Jamir Watkins transferring: 5 possible landing spots

Pitt fell a bit short of the NCAA Tournament despite 22 wins this past season, but the early outlook for 2024-25 looks bright under Jeff Capel. The Panthers will retain several important players but will lose some vital pieces including leading scorer Blake Hinson, who is out of eligibility, and talented freshman guard Carlton Carrington who has declared for the NBA draft. While Pitt will still have double-digit scorer Ishmael Leggett and talented guard Jaland Lowe, there could be an opportunity to add a veteran wing like Watkins to help fill the scoring void should he look to stay in the ACC. Capel has already made a couple of portal moves thus far with the additions of Damian Dunn and Cameron Corhen, the latter of whom was Watkins鈥� teammate this past season at Florida State.
