Jamir Watkins transferring: 5 possible landing spots

Creighton had a strong 2023-24 season where it made the second weekend of the NCAA Tournament once again, but one thing that often lacked for the Bluejays when it mattered most was depth. Greg McDermott will bring in three solid recruits in the program鈥檚 2024 class headlined by power forward Jackson McAndrew, and has also added transfer forward Jamiya Neal. Still, adding another wing like Watkins could be beneficial for the team next season. Creighton will lose leading scorer Baylor Scheierman this offseason who is out of eligibility, while second-leading scorer Trey Alexander has declared for the NBA draft. That鈥檚 a lot of production to replace and Watkins would be a nice option to fill the void alongside returning stars Steven Ashworth and Ryan Kalkbrenner.
