Dre Davis enters transfer portal: 5 possible landing spots
Purdue Boilermakers
Purdue is getting ready to begin a new era of sorts without Zach Edey following a special 2023-24 season where the Boilermakers made it to the national championship game. Even with Edey, it often felt like Purdue lacked multiple complementary scoring options, something Matt Painter will likely look to address this offseason. The Boilermakers have a strong freshman class coming in this year headlined by 6-foot-8 forward Kanon Catchings, but adding someone like Davis would give Purdue a more experienced, proven scoring threat on the wing right off the bat next season. With Lance Jones out of eligibility and Mason Gillis and Ethan Morton transferring, Davis could be in line for a pivotal role in West Lafayette should he look to return to his home state.
