Jamarii Thomas transferring: 5 landing spots for MEAC POTY
NC State Wolfpack
The buzz around NC State鈥檚 improbable run to the Final Four will likely continue for a while, but Kevin Keatts will have to look at building his roster for next season in the near future. The Wolfpack are going to lose a lot of their top players including fan-favorite DJ Burns Jr., but it鈥檚 the backcourt that could take an even greater hit as leading scorer DJ Horne and skilled two-way guard Casey Morsell will graduate. While Keatts has a couple of shooting guards coming in through NC State鈥檚 2024 class, he likely will need to find a capable point guard in the transfer portal. Thomas could be an option as he has scoring ability similar to Horne and would add veteran experience to the club. Joining NC State would also be a homecoming for Thomas as he grew up just over an hour away from Raleigh in Greensboro.
