Jamarii Thomas transferring: 5 landing spots for MEAC POTY

Iowa is one of the programs already linked to Thomas in the portal and should be considered an early favorite to land the 6-foot guard. The Hawkeyes haven鈥檛 dipped into the portal all that frequently in recent years but have found success when they have, most recently adding starter Ben Krikke last year. Krikke is one of the top talents Iowa will lose this offseason as he is out of eligibility. Meanwhile, starting point guard Tony Perkins and forward Patrick McCaffery have entered the transfer portal. While he does have young guards Brock Harding and Dasonte Bowen to turn to, Fran McCaffery will likely look to add an experienced point guard to the mix. That could come in the form of Thomas whose scoring ability would fit well in what is usually one of the top offenses in the Big Ten.
