Pop Isaacs enters transfer portal: 5 possible landing spots

Ole Miss has some current ties to Texas Tech headlined by Chris Beard who was the head coach of the Red Raiders from 2016-21. Perhaps one of the most significant factors when it comes to potentially landing Isaacs is Al Pinkins being on Beard鈥檚 staff who coached the talented point guard in Lubbock during the 2022-23 season. Although the Rebels failed to reach the NCAA Tournament this season, Beard appears to be building something special in Oxford as Ole Miss improved drastically and began the year on a 13-game winning streak. The Rebels have a lot of young talent in their backcourt including point guard Jaylen Murray, but with Allen Flanigan out of eligibility and Matthew Murrell potentially moving on, Ole Miss could use someone like Isaacs to help replace its leading scorers.
