Danny Wolf transferring: 5 landing spots for 7-foot center
Purdue
College basketball fans have grown accustomed to the Boilermakers having 7-foot centers and so they could be interested in Wolf. With 2023 Naismith College Player of the Year Zach Edey set to declare for the NBA draft, Purdue will be without its big man next season. While the Boilermakers have potential replacements such as redshirt freshman Will Berg or incoming recruit Daniel Jacobsen, they may want to add a 7-footer with a bit more college success and experience.
Wolf would be joining a championship-caliber team even with the loss of Edey as Purdue could retain a majority of its roster with Braden Smith, Fletcher Loyer, Trey Kaufman-Renn, Mason Gillis and Myles Colvin all having eligibility remaining. While Wolf doesn鈥檛 play the exact same game as Edey does inside, he鈥檚 a big body who can stretch the defense out to the 3-point arc or down low which could add a new dynamic to an already dangerous Boilermakers roster.
