Jason Edwards enters transfer portal: 5 possible landing spots

Edwards shined in his first season playing in the Lone Star State and some of Texas鈥� top programs may have taken notice. The Longhorns had a solid season overall in 2023-24 but lacked a scoring punch late in the year, particularly in the NCAA Tournament. Texas will now lose several key contributors from its current squad including forward Dylan Disu and leading scorer Max Abmas. Rodney Terry excelled in the portal last year with the acquisition of Abmas, so he may turn there again for another volume-scoring point guard. Texas has some nice young pieces in its backcourt already and will add a couple of talented recruits next season, but having a duo of Edwards and Tyrese Hunter in the lineup would be tough to beat.
