Otega Oweh enters transfer portal: 5 landing spots for guard
Penn State
The Nittany Lions were another team Oweh visited during his high school recruitment. This is in large part due to his brother having played for the Penn State football program at the time. While the Nittany Lions coaching staff has changed since then, head coach Mike Rhoades actually offered Oweh when he was the head coach at VCU so there鈥檚 still familiarity with him. Penn State will need a guard too as they lost leading scorer Kanye Clary to the transfer portal.
With the Nittany Lions, Oweh would not only have a spot waiting for him, but he would be able to play for a family school and one closer to his New Jersey home. If he wanted to make a return to his roots while also getting ample playing time, Penn State would be a solid choice.
