Otega Oweh enters transfer portal: 5 landing spots for guard
Rutgers
If Oweh truly wanted to return home, Rutgers would be the best place for him. While the Scarlet Knights didn鈥檛 offer the guard out of high school, they may need reinforcements even with the additions of top recruits Ace Bailey and Dylan Harper. Rutgers lost Derek Simpson to the portal and Noah Fernandes to graduation and would likely benefit from having an experienced guard help teach the younger players how to play at the collegiate level. That鈥檚 where Oweh could fit in.
This move would allow Oweh to return to New Jersey while playing for the biggest school in the state. He would also be joining a team with a bright future given the additions of Bailey and Harper so he may be intrigued by that prospect as well. The biggest question would be if the Scarlet Knights feel he fits what they鈥檙e looking for in the future.
