Otega Oweh enters transfer portal: 5 landing spots for guard
Maryland
Otega鈥檚 older brother, Odafe, plays football for the Baltimore Ravens, only about 45 minutes away from Maryland鈥檚 College Park campus. Add the fact that Terrapins head coach Kevin Willard offered Otega a scholarship when he was the head coach of Seton Hall and the connection to Maryland goes even further. With star guard Jahmir Young graduating, the Terps will need to replace his production and have already added Virginia Tech transfer Rodney Rice, but they could still use some more firepower.
Otega would not only be able to move closer to his native New Jersey, but also near his family and play for a program where he is familiar with the coaching staff. With an open spot at the guard position, Otega could slide into the starting rotation and help Maryland鈥檚 offense stay productive despite the loss of Young.
